What a lovely combination we’ve stumbled upon here!

I mentioned a few months ago I’ve been sweetening some of my treats using solely bananas, which is what is going on here. Look at these like healthy carrot cake cupcakes…or banana cupcakes…or healthy banana carrot muffins. 

Whatever you want to call them, they’re here for your snacking, breakfasting, desserting pleasure. 

All things considered, these muffins are grain-free, dairy-free, oil-free, contain zero added sweetener, are paleo-friendly and are absolutely delicious!

If you’d like, you can do as I did and frost the muffins using my Vegan Cream Cheese Frosting recipe. This gives the muffins a cupcake feel for a more decadent approach!

Do note, that the cream cheese frosting is sweetened with pure maple syrup, so you would need to skip the frosting to keep these sugar-free, or use sugar-free sweetener in the frosting.

There’s no denying it…Banana bread recipes are a THING right now.

Truly, they have always been a thing, but now more so than ever. We are all looking for comfort and familiarity with a side of staying well physically.

One of the ways I’m using my free time and mind space is in trying new methods of cooking and baking.

It is fascinating to me how small nuances can change a whole recipe. I purchased to book, The Food Lab to gain a better understanding on how certain ingredients react with others and the way techniques can make all the difference in cooking and baking.

The Best Gluten-Free Banana Bread Recipe

The BEST gluten-free banana bread recipe made with gluten-free flour blend and sweetened with coconut sugar. Add chocolate chips and/or chopped nuts to level up this already moist and fluffy dream bread.

Confession: I fancy myself a bit of a banana bread aficionado. After posting the initial base recipes for Paleo Banana Bread  using almond flour and Coconut Flour Paleo Banana Bread, I have since followed up the two with countless variations on grain-free banana bread. 

Just have a scroll through my Banana Bread  archives to feast your eye sockets on the possibilities. Hint: The Paleo Carrot Cake Banana Bread is my personal favorite, followed closely by Paleo Cranberry Orange Bread

All that said, this is the very first gluten-free banana bread recipe I have posted on this site (insert record scratch and ginormous eyes emoji)…not to be confused with grain-free.
