Almond Flour

Molasses

Pure Maple Syrup

Baking Soda

Sea salt

Pumpkin Pie Spice

Melted Butter

How to Make Paleo Gingerbread Mug Cake:

Add all of the ingredients for the mug cake to a microwave-safe mug. Stir well until combined. The mixture will be very thick.

Stir ingredients for the mug cake in a measuring cup or mug

The mug cake batter should be very thick

Microwave for 50 to 60 seconds (I do 60), or until the cake has fluffed up substantially.

If desired, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

Warmly-spiced molasses mug cake made grain-free and dairy-free is a special single-serve treat for fall and winter.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 Tbsp molasses
  • 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp melted or butter or ghee
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients for the mug cake to a microwave-safe mug. Stir well until combined. The mixture will be very thick.
