CABBAGE AND SAUSAGE SKILLET

30-Minute Cabbage and Sausage Skillet requiring a handful of basic ingredients makes for a healthy low-carb dinner!

– avocado oil – yellow onion – garlic – green cabbage – carrots – red bell pepper – sausage – sea salt

Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet (12-inch skillet recommended) over medium-high heat. Add the onion, sprinkle with sea salt, stir well, then cover.

Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion begins turning golden-brown, about 5 to 8 minutes.

While the onion is cooking, chop the cabbage. Add the cabbage to the skillet, sprinkle with a little more sea salt, and cover.

Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage has wilted and turns bright green, about 5 to 8 minutes. The exact cooking time depends on how soft you like your veggies.

While the cabbage is cooking, chop the remaining ingredients. Add them to the skillet and stir well.
