Bake up a batch or two for the family, a cookie exchange, or to give away as holiday gifts.
When I bake a batch of crinkle cookies during the holidays, I wonder to myself why I don’t bake them more frequently throughout the year.
They’re just so vivacious and fun with their deep crevasses and puffs of powdered sugar.
I whipped up a low-carb keto chocolate crinkle cookies recipe for those of us who are all about those little indulgences but try to keep our blood sugar within the realm of sanity.

Keto Pecan Snowball Cookies made with almond flour, sugar-free sweetener and butter. This easy sugar-free cookie recipe is a healthier holiday treat!
Buttery, flaky shortbread-like cookies studded with little bits of pecans and rolled in powdered sweetener that happen to be sugar-free and grain-free? You’re going to LOVE these Keto Pecan Snowballs!
These keto snowballs are a similar concept to Russian Tea Cakes, Mexican Wedding Cakes, Italian Wedding Cookies, etc. They’re buttery lumps of soft yet crispy cookie with chopped nuts (in this case, pecans) mixed in and rolled in a dusting of powdered sugar (in this case, sugar-free).
There are many things I love about this style of cookie. They require very few ingredients, no eggs, and can easily be made in advance and frozen.
In fact, you will need to freeze the cookie dough prior to baking it anyway, so if you’re looking for a.) make-ahead Christmas cookie recipes, and/or b.) cookie dough that can easily be made in bulk then baked from frozen, these may just be a great fit!
This Keto-Friendly Chocolate Pie is grain-free, sugar-free, vegan, dairy-free, and incredibly rich and creamy! This mouth-watering, delicious chocolate pie recipe is a carb-conscious version of classic French Silk Pie and is perfect for sharing during the holidays and beyond!
What desserts are always present at your family’s gatherings?
In my family, there’s always both Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie at Thanksgiving, and always, always chocolate pie at Christmas…several, actually. One with nuts, two without 😉
…With plenty of whipped cream for engulfing the whole slice.
I’ve mentioned in past recipe posts that I’m all about embracing traditional family dishes, but have slowly over the years made my way through each and every one of them, adapting the recipes to different dietary needs along the way.
There are multiple people in my family who have to watch their sugar, be mindful of their carb intake, etc. so taking a classic family favorite and turning it into a version everyone could eat was a major win.
And you guys…this pie…is an absolute pleasure!
A creamy, rich, sweet chocolate filling is settled atop a perfectly nutty and crunchy crust (think a grain-free version of graham cracker crust), generating a perfect bite each and every time.
