A goof-proof Prime Rib Recipe! This simple method results in incredible, perfectly cooked prime rib each and every time. All you need is two ingredients, a roasting pan and a thermometer!
Everything you need to know about cooking prime rib is right here in this post! From prime rib seasoning to prime rib cooking time, differences between various cuts of roast, and more. This easy recipe made the best prime rib in the world!
Prime rib is generally accepted as the alpha omega of all the beef cuts. And for a great reason! It is tender, loaded with flavor, and has the most delightful drool-worthy crispy fat layering the outside.
Cooking large pieces of meat can be intimidating, but what I’ve learned over the years is the bigger the better.
I say that somewhat in jest, but also somewhat seriously.
Large cuts of meat typically include a decent amount of fat content, which helps lubricate the meat throughout the cooking process and results in tender, delicious meat.
In addition, larger cuts are typically cooked for a longer period of time (the longer, the better 😉 ), again resulting in mouth-watering succulent meat.
To summarize: there is no need to be intimidated by the ol’ standing rib roast!
Here is everything you need to know about making an amazing prime rib roast!
Keto Pecan Snowball Cookies made with almond flour, sugar-free sweetener and butter. This easy sugar-free cookie recipe is a healthier holiday treat!
Buttery, flaky shortbread-like cookies studded with little bits of pecans and rolled in powdered sweetener that happen to be sugar-free and grain-free? You’re going to LOVE these Keto Pecan Snowballs!
These keto snowballs are a similar concept to Russian Tea Cakes, Mexican Wedding Cakes, Italian Wedding Cookies, etc. They’re buttery lumps of soft yet crispy cookie with chopped nuts (in this case, pecans) mixed in and rolled in a dusting of powdered sugar (in this case, sugar-free).
There are many things I love about this style of cookie. They require very few ingredients, no eggs, and can easily be made in advance and frozen.
In fact, you will need to freeze the cookie dough prior to baking it anyway, so if you’re looking for a.) make-ahead Christmas cookie recipes, and/or b.) cookie dough that can easily be made in bulk then baked from frozen, these may just be a great fit!
Keto Shortbread Cookies made with three basic ingredients! This easy low-carb shortbread recipe is grain-free, sugar-free, dairy-free and vegan. A healthier cookie recipe to enjoy during the holidays!
Who here is ready to go full send into butter and sugar season??
I can only speak for myself when I say bring it on!
Having grown up with a mother who is a fabulous baker, I always eagerly await the holidays because I absolutely love baking treats to share with others. In fact, I get more joy out of giving away the treats than I do from actually consuming them. 😉
Every holiday season, I share a new shortbread recipe. I just can’t help it…there is just so much you can do with shortbread!
Just take a gander at my Paleo Chocolate Shortbread Cookies, 3-Ingredient Paleo Shortbread, Chocolate-Dipped Cardamom Orange Paleo Shortbread Cookies, and Maple Pecan Gluten-Free Shortbread to whet your whistle.
WELL, this is the first low-carb keto shortbread cookie recipe I have shared on this site. Boy oh boy, is it tasty!
It reminds me of traditional shortbread, giving you all the festive holiday feels. It tastes nice and buttery in spite of being dairy-free. It has that delectable crisp and a very similar texture to shortbread made with regular all-purpose flour.
If you love classic shortbread, you’ll enjoy these buttery cookies as is! If you’re a chocoholic like me, you can spruce them up even further. Dip the shortbread in melted sugar-free chocolate and sprinkle with chopped nuts for a real wild ride!
Let’s bake them up!
Paleo Carrot Cake Banana Muffins made grain-free, oil-free, dairy-free with no added sugar! These healthy carrot banana muffins are studded with raisins and pecans for a perfectly sweet, texturally pleasing nutritious snack.
Carrot cake, meet banana muffins…banana muffins, meet carrot cake!
What a lovely combination we’ve stumbled upon here!
I mentioned a few months ago I’ve been sweetening some of my treats using solely bananas, which is what is going on here. Look at these like healthy carrot cake cupcakes…or banana cupcakes…or healthy banana carrot muffins.
Whatever you want to call them, they’re here for your snacking, breakfasting, desserting pleasure.
All things considered, these muffins are grain-free, dairy-free, oil-free, contain zero added sweetener, are paleo-friendly and are absolutely delicious!
If you’d like, you can do as I did and frost the muffins using my Vegan Cream Cheese Frosting recipe. This gives the muffins a cupcake feel for a more decadent approach!
Do note, that the cream cheese frosting is sweetened with pure maple syrup, so you would need to skip the frosting to keep these sugar-free, or use sugar-free sweetener in the frosting.
Let’s get down to business!
Almond Flour Coffee Cake that is perfectly moist and fluffy with amazing cinnamon pecan topping. This delicious healthy coffee cake recipe is paleo, grain-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free.
Well, this is long overdue!
If you’ve been following my site for a few years, you know I have about 17 million coffee cake recipes. All requiring different funky add-ins to make each very unique and special…but every single coffee cake recipe is made with coconut flour.
This is our first foray into almond flour coffee cake, and I really must say….I’m obsessed.
This paleo coffee cake turns out tasting plenty cinnamony and is perfectly sweet. In my mind, coffee cake shouldn’t be as sweet as a standard cake…subtly sweet but not in a dessert-like way.
It is nice and moist and has a buttery flavor to it in spite of the fact that it contains no butter. In my mind, it’s the perfect healthy treat for anyone to enjoy as breakfast or snack. PLUS, if you have family or guests around that have dietary restrictions, this is a marvelous recipe that fits multiple restrictions.
First things first, let’s talk ingredients:
Maple Cinnamon Roasted Delicata Squash has an amazing soft yet crispy texture with warm maple-cinnamon flavors. This easy, healthy side dish recipe is perfect for sharing and can easily be made any night of the week!
Maple Cinnamon Roasted Delicata Squash is also known as that guaranteed way I will eat an entire delicata squash in one sitting each and every time.
What can I say? When it comes to vegetables that taste like candy, I just can’t resist.
Let’s back up.
Have you tried delicata squash?
Perhaps the most underrated of all the winter squash, delicata squash is very naturally sweet with a creamy texture and a bit of a pumpkin-meets-butternut squash essence to it.
If I played favorites, delicata could quite possibly be my favorite squash!
When roasted with maple syrup and cinnamon, delicata squash is simply irresistible. Plus, it’s a great source of potassium and fiber, Vitamins B and C and beta-carotene.
Let’s chat about ingredients!

Garlic Roasted Potatoes are an easy, crowd-pleasing side dish. This simple recipe requires minimal ingredients and is a marvelous way of adding starch to a meal.
A few months ago, I whipped up these garlic roasted potatoes for a family dinner, and of course they were well received. Carbs + butter + garlic is the ultimate trifecta for pleasing friends and family.
This easy roasted potatoes recipe results in perfectly tender yet crispy potatoes with that buttery garlic-herb carb bliss.
Have you roasted fingerling potatoes? I kind of love how easy they are to prepare because you don’t need to chop them first. These days, I go the path of least resistance, so if I can skip a step, I AM IN!
I’ve found roasted potatoes turn out best when twice cooked – first boiled to soften them up quickly, and next roasted to crisp them up and finish cooking them through.
You get that golden-brown feature from roasting them in the oven, but that delightful soft texture on the inside from the boiling.
Let’s discuss the ingredients we need for these roasted fingerling potatoes.
