- 3 Tbsp salted butter
- 4 cups marshmallows divided
- 3 cups graham cereal*
- 4 to 8 ounces Hershey's bars broken into pieces**
Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper. Or, spray the pan with cooking spray.
Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add in 3 cups of the marshmallows and continuously stir until the marshmallows have dissolved and you’re left with a creamy mixture. If the butter or marshmallows begin melting too fast, reduce the stove top to low heat. Immediately remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the cereal until everything is well combined. This whole process should only take 2-3 minutes. It goes quick!
Mix in the remaining one cup of marshmallows and the chocolate chips until well incorporated.
Transfer the s’mores mixture to the prepared pan and use a spatula or a wooden spoon to press it into an even layer.
Refrigerate for 1 hour or until the bars are completely set up.
*Use Golden Grams, Catalina Crunch Honey Graham cereal, etc.
**Use however much chocolate you think you'll like! Some like it light and some like it heavy on the chocolate. I use about 6 ounces. You can also use 2/3 cup to 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips if you prefer chocolate chips over Hershey's Bars.
