Crab Cake Sauce Recipe

Use this amazing sauce for topping crab cakes, salmon cakes, chicken tenders, or use it as a dipping sauce for fries, shrimp, hush puppies, and more! You can even use it in place of mayonnaise on burgers and sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp Crystal hot sauce or hot sauce of choice
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ½ Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp worchestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning or Creole seasoning optional
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp sea salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper to taste
  • 1-2 Tbsp fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1-2 Tbsp capers optional

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients for the crab cake sauce to a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly until combined. Taste the sauce for flavor and add more hot sauce, salt, or lemon juice to your personal taste. Use for drizzling on top of the crab cake or salmon cakes for the ultimate complement.
  • Store crab cake sauce in an airtight container or a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
