Combine water, vinegar, and salt in a saucepan and bring it to a full boil. Allow it to cool for a few minutes.

Divide the sliced cucumbers, spices, and garlic between two large jars.

Pour the pickling liquid into the jars, filling them all the way up.

Seal the jars and allow them to cool to room temperature before moving them to the refrigerator.

Pickles are ready after two days but taste best after they have sat for 4-5 days.
