Add the hot water, matcha powder, and pure maple syrup to a mug and stir well. Note: matcha is customarily made with hot water that is between 160 and 178 degrees Fahrenheit (70-80 degrees Celsius).
Heat the unsweetened almond milk by either microwaving it, heating it on the stove top, or using a milk frother.
Add the hot almond milk and pure maple syrup (or sweetener of choice) to the mug with the matcha mixture. Give it a stir, and enjoy! Adjust the sweetener and the amount of matcha powder to your personal taste.
