Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 to 6 Large Eggs

Options for Serving:

  • gluten-free bread of choice
  • 1/2 avocado sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 250 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  • Carefully place the raw large eggs inside of the air fryer basket (use as few or as many as you would like and your air fryer can hold). Place large eggs such that they aren't touching in a single layer if possible.

  • For soft boiled eggs, cook for 11 to 13 minutes for a soft egg yolk and for hard boiled eggs, cook for 17 minutes for a completely cooked yolk.
  • After the cooking process is complete, immediately transfer the cooked eggs to an ice bath and allow them to chill for at least 15 minutes. I recommend using tongs for this step, as the eggs will be hot!

  • Use a kitchen towel to dry off the eggs. At this point, you can peel and enjoy the eggs or transfer them to the refrigerator until you’re ready to use them.

  • Use hard boiled eggs for egg salad sandwiches, eat them as is, or enjoy them chopped up in green salads.
