Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • Place the raw shrimp in a zip lock bag, along with the avocado oil, garlic, sea salt, and paprika). Note: be sure the shrimp is peeled and deveined before marinating it. Seal the bag and shake it around until everything is well-combined and the shrimp is coated in the marinade.
  • Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, up to 8 hours.
  • When you’re ready to air fry, preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
  • Place the shrimp into the air fryer in a single layer (depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do this in two batches).
  • Air fry for 4 minutes. Check on shrimp and air fry for another 1 minute longer if necessary. Do note shrimp doesn’t take very long to cook, so avoid overcooking it. You will know the shrimp is fully cooked when it is completely pink and reaches 165 degrees F.
  • Drizzle 1 to 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and serve!

Notes

If using frozen shrimp, thaw the shrimp completely before marinating it.
