Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 1 large granny smith apple cored and chopped
  • ½ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk of choice*
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 2 scoops protein powder optional
  • 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup to taste
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened almond butter
  • tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch allspice
  • ¼ tsp pure vanilla extract optional
  • Handful ice cubes **

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

  • If needed, add more milk to help along the blending process or for a thinner consistency.

Notes

*I use oat milk, but any dairy or non-dairy milk will work. Use full-fat canned coconut milk for a decadent treat.
**If you’re using a frozen banana, you can omit the ice
