- 1 large ripe banana
- 1 large granny smith apple cored and chopped
- ½ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk of choice*
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 2 scoops protein powder optional
- 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup to taste
- 2 Tbsp unsweetened almond butter
- ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch allspice
- ¼ tsp pure vanilla extract optional
- Handful ice cubes **
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
If needed, add more milk to help along the blending process or for a thinner consistency.
*I use oat milk, but any dairy or non-dairy milk will work. Use full-fat canned coconut milk for a decadent treat.
**If you’re using a frozen banana, you can omit the ice
