Mix the ingredients for the crust and topping in a mixing bowl. Measure out 1/3 cup of the mixture and set it aside to use as topping later.

Transfer the crust mixture to a parchment lined pan and press it into an even layer. Poke it several times with a fork.

Heat the chopped strawberries and pure maple syrup in a saucepan. Once liquid begins seeping out, mash strawberries with a fork or a potato masher.

Transfer the strawberry mixture to the pan with the crust mixture.

Sprinkle the reserved crumble topping on top and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
