These easy high-protein cottage cheese brownies are made with better-for-you ingredients and tasty seriously rich and fudgy!

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Transfer the cottage cheese, pure maple syrup, and almond butter to a blender or a food processor and blend until a creamy texture is achieved. The lumps should be out of the cottage cheese.
  • Pour this mixture into a large mixing bowl and mix in the eggs and pure vanilla extract.
  • In a separate large bowl, stir together the dry ingredients (cocoa powder, protein powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and sea salt).
  • Transfer the wet ingredients to the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir well. Mix in the chocolate chips.
  • Spread the brownie batter in the baking pan in an even layer. Bake on the center rack of the preheated oven for 16-20 minutes, or until the batter has set up.
  • Allow the brownies to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
