If you haven't tried air frying hamburgers, here is your sign! With the perfect result every time, cooking hamburgers in the air fryer not only yields perfect burgers, it is also speedy quick! Be sure to pick up your favorite toppings!
Transfer all of the ingredients for the hamburger meat to a mixing bowl and use your hands to mix everything together until well combined.
Form 4 equal sized patties out of the beef mixture, making the patties about ½ inch thick each.
Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
Transfer the burger patties to the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 5 minutes. Flip and cook an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until the burger patties reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit. If adding cheese to make cheeseburgers, do so 1 to 2 minutes before the burgers are finished cooking. The burgers can be pulled out of the air fryer at 155 degrees F, as they will continue cooking as they rest. Let burgers rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Serve burgers on toasted buns with cheddar cheese, avocado, sliced tomato, thinly sliced red onion and leafy green lettuce.
Notes
*Use your favorite fat percentage of ground beef. Use lean ground beef (90/10 or 93/7) for less fat or use 80/20 for juicier, more flavorful burgers.
