Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a full boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes to allow flavors to infuse.
Remove from heat and use a fine strainer to strain out ginger pulp prior to drinking. Note: Store beverage in a sealed jar including ginger pulp for up to one week. Strain beverage into a saucepan and reheat before drinking.
