Blend the oats in a high-powered blender until a flour forms. Add in the rest of the dry ingredients and blend for a few seconds to combine.

Mix the applesauce, eggs, avocado oil and pure maple syrup together in a mixing bowl.

Add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl and mix well until a batter forms.

Stir in the chopped apple until it is well-incorporated into the batter.

Transfer the cake batter to a parchment-lined cake pan and bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
