CROCK POT CHICKEN STEW RECIPE

Sear both sides of the chicken thighs in a skillet for 6 minutes per side. Transfer to the bottom of your slow cooker with the chopped potatoes, carrots and onion.

Pour in the broth, then slow cook on low for 7 hours. Add in the rest of the vegetables and cook for another hour.

Remove the chicken from the crock pot and shred it. Transfer the shredded chicken back to the crock pot.

Mix 1/2 cup of broth with 2 tablespoons of flour or corn starch. Pour this into the slow cooker.

Slow cook for another 30 minutes to an hour, until the stew has thickened. Serve with garlic bread, and enjoy!
