On your taco, in your burrito, atop your huebos rancheros, on your spoon at all times. A guac you need to eat while playing Sudoku because you need brain food, damnit, and Sudoku is hard!

I originally posted this recipe over a year ago and felt the dire need to express my love for it again. It’s uncomplicated and soothes whatever ache or pain your mind body and soul could have. That may be stretching it, but it’s worth a once over at the very least….and more than likely it will become your new go-to guac recipe!

Mango & Roasted Jalapeño Guacamole

  • 3 avocados peeled and diced
  • 1 mango peeled and diced
  • 2 jalapenos roasted
  • 1 cup fresh tomatoes diced
  • ½ cup red onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons to 4 lime juice
  • sea salt


  1. Add all of the ingredients for the guacamole to a serving bowl and mash and stir until you reach desired consistency (note: I like to leave my guac chunky).
