Mix the ingredients for the marinade in a small bowl or measuring cup.

Marinate the chicken for at least 1 hour, ideally several hours.

Preheat the grill to 450 degrees F. Place chicken on the hot grill and grill for 2-3 minutes.

Flip and continue grilling another 2-3 minutes. Continue grilling and flipping every couple of minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Serve over brown rice with avocado, tomatoes, and a drizzle of hoisin sauce.
